THREE MONTH FEATURE FILM PRODUCTION 2024
Programme

The Three Month Feature Film Production Programme is uniquely designed for individuals who wish to embark on a highly vocational and industry focused training course as contemporary filmmakers with an on set, hands on emphasis. This programme is designed for individuals with passion, creativity, determination and a serious commitment to creating a lasting career in filmmaking. It provides you with a very unique opportunity to gain first hand experience of what it takes to make a feature film, from an on set perspective.

APPLY NOW

For three months, you will form part of a small, tight-knit production team with a single shared goal: to learn, first hand, the art of crafting a poignant and moving feature film. Industry experts will be working with you, encouraging and guiding a small group of passionate and specially selected students to crew on a feature film to be taken to festivals. You will be part of several departments, on a journey through all the aspects of Preproduction and Production.

Intensive and Practical

This programme is totally unique and provides you with the opportunity to especially learn all stages of Preproduction and Production through doing. Students will undertake a practical, creative and technical workshop and will then be asked to put their knowledge into practice, on a real-life feature film project. The course is fast, intensive and absorbing. Our key goal is to give students the tools, mindset and support they need to make it in the real world. By the end of the program, students will have evolved professionally, worked with industry leaders, have a feature film experience, a career plan, and be part of a feature film to be taken to film festivals. This is a distinctive feature of this afilm programme.

Graduate Prospects

Graduates will have the skills required for accessing and working within the film industry in Preproduction and Production. As an afilm graduate, you will be in a unique position to have worked on a real feature film. You will also be coached with commercial and networking skills to go out and find work.
