DIGITAL FEATURE FILM 2024-2025
Programme

The Feature Film Programme is uniquely designed for individuals who wish to undergo a highly vocational and industry focused training and education as contemporary filmmakers. In 8 months you will shoot a feature film, as far as we are aware it is one of the only courses of it’s kind in the world.

APPLY NOW

This professional programme is designed for individuals with passion, creativity, determination and a real commitment to gaining a lasting career as a storyteller in film. It provides you with a very unique opportunity to gain first hand experience of what it takes to make a feature film. For the next eight months you will form part of a small tight knit production team with one shared goal; to craft a poignant and moving feature film. Industry experts will be working with you, encouraging and guiding a small group of passionate and specially selected students to make a film to take to festivals. The film will be shot on location in and around the stunning cities of Barcelona and Sitges, working both outdoors and with controlled light conditions indoors. You will be part of an international team that is taken on a journey through the art of Directing / Producing / Cinematography / Screenwriting / Production Design / Editing and Sound. Afilm works with professional acting agencies, hair, makeup & prop companies.

Intensive and Practical

This programme is totally unique and provides you with the opportunity to learn all the stages of filmmaking through doing. Students will undertake a substantial number of practical, creative and technical workshops in groups or sub-groups and will then be asked to put their knowledge into practice. The course is fast, intensive and absorbing. Our key goal is to give students the tools, the mindset and the support they need to make it in the real world. By the end of the programme students will have evolved professionally, worked with industry leaders, have a feature film experience, a career plan and a showreel of their work, as well as a feature lm which will be taken to film festivals. This is a distinctive feature of Afilm programmes.

Graduate Prospects

Graduates will have all the key skills required for accessing and working within the film industry. As an alm graduate, you will be in a unique position to have worked on a real feature film. You will also be coached with commercial and networking skills to go out and find work and create your own film projects.
