Gifted and multi-talented Composer Maya Sprouse to score yet another Afilm film.

In recent years, Maya Sprouse has composed the beautiful original music for the Afilm features, The Afterglow (starring Paul Coster and Claudia Trujillo), as well as The Forsaken (starring Sarah Tyler Shaw, Claudia Trujillo, Ian Breeds, Alberto Esparza and Paco Perez). Both features premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival and have screened at festivals around the world.
She is now scoring the Afilm short film, LOST NIGHT BARCELONA.
Maya Sprouse holds a Masters of Music, Magna Cum Laude, from Berklee College of Music (Valencia, Spain) in Scoring for Film, TV, and Video Games, and a Bachelor with Honors in violin and vocal performance from Paul McCartney’s school, LIPA, in Liverpool, England. Sprouse spent two years in Los Angeles working at various music studios with renowned composers such as Christopher Lennertz and Laura Karpman, and also as an assistant at the film music PR firm Costa Communications during the 2013 Oscar season. Sprouse is now pursuing a Doctorate in Symphonic Conducting while also studying Ethnomusicology in relation to Economy Crisis, Queer Theory, Critical Theory, Feminism, Racial Relations in Music Education, and trends in the industry today.
