Afilm Alumnus Collaboration – Premier, DANCING WITH DOLLY Trailer
Afilm is proud to collaborate with and premier the trailer of the stunning new documentary, DANCING WITH DOLLY, created by Afilm alumnus Charbel Bou-Antoun. Shot in Agra, India, and currently in final stages of postproduction, Charbel shares Dolly’s story, a 14 year old girl who at the age of 12 was attacked with acid and has come to terms with her disfigurement with the help of other survivors who also share their empowering stories.
Charbel, originally from Lebanon and residing in London, studied film at Afilm in Sitges, Spain (Introduction to Filmmaking & Digital Feature Film programmes), where he co-wrote and co-directed his first feature film ‘Dancing Dogs’ in 2012,( Premier, Sitges International Film Festival). Since then, he has worked on music videos and short films in Tokyo, Japan. Afilm Studio is a proud collaborator of this project. Music by Zaun Zehner.

Colaboración Afilm – Ex Alumno – Estreno, Trailer DANCING WITH DOLLY
Afilm se enorgullece de presentar el estreno del trailer del impresionante documental, DANCING WITH DOLLY, creado por el ex-alumno de Afilm, Charbel Bou-Antoun. Rodado en Agra, India, y actualmente en las ultimas fases de postproducción, Charbel comparte la historia de Dolly, una joven de 14 años, que a los 12, fue atacada con acido, y que ha llegado a superar sus circunstancias con la ayuda de otras supervivientes, que tambien comparten sus historias inspiradoras.
Charbel, del Libano aunque actualmente reside en Londres, estudió cine en Afilm en Sitges, Spain (Introduction to Filmmaking & Digital Feature Film programmes), donde co-escribio y co-dirigio su primer largometraje, ‘Dancing Dogs’ en 2012, ( Esteno, Sitges International Film Festival). Desde entonces, ha trabajado en videos musicales y cortos en Tokio, Japon. Afilm Studio esta orgulloso de ser colaborador de este proyecto. Musica por Zaun Zehner.
