The Introduction to Filmmaking Programme is a film training course exploring all aspects of filmmaking, designed for individuals who wish to embark on a viable career in visual storytelling, with an emphasis in film. This introduction programme is designed for individuals with passion, creativity, determination and a real commitment to initiating a lasting career as a professional in the film industry.
Afilm Short Film Shoots!
For eight months, if you join the Introduction to Filmmaking programme, you will join a tight-knit group of like-minded artists all working towards discovering their voices as visual storytellers. A group of working filmmakers will guide you, encouraging and leading a small group of passionate and specially selected students dedicated to professionally crafting stories about the human condition. You will be part of an international team that is taken on a journey writing, directing, and editing three short films each, while crewing on all other afilm productions, all gaining experience and confidence with all the tools of our trade.
