SHORT FILM SHOOTING CAMP:
DIRECTORS vs. DIRECTORS OF PHOTOGRAPHY
afilm offers an intensive, bilingual, hands-on “Boot Camp”, an 7 day Short Film Workshop, divided into two specialties (student’s choice): DIRECTORS and DIRECTORS OF PHOTOGRAPHY. Each member of the Directing crew will write, storyboard, direct and edit their own short film, as well as crewing on the other short films, using Apple computers and Apple-based software. Each member of the Cinematography crew will learn to crew the short films, rotating positions on each film as Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Assistant Camera, Gaffer and Key Grip.
All participants will stay on location at a country house in the Sitges area, known for its beautiful mediterranean beaches, its impressive architectural heritage and its incessant cultural activities. All necessary materials will be provided, including meals. Each participant will receive a copy of all films shot for use in their showreel.
The workshop will be lead by an independent filmmaker, a leading cinematographer and a professional assistant director.
WORKSHOP CONTENT: 7 Days x 12 hours / day- 84 hours Total
Both DIRECTING and CINEMATOGRAPHY crews will live on location in the Sitges area during the Workshop.

DAY IV - V: PRODUCTION
-SHOOT 5 Short Digital Films
DAY VI - VII: POSTPRODUCTION/ EXHIBITION

-Rough/ Fine/ Final Cut -Post-workflow
-Sound/ Mix -Color Correction
