afilm offers an English language Introduction to Filmmaking program. Students will learn/ perfect the complete cinema process, from a practical and professional film production perspective, in a non-academic, Production Company environment. Amongst other activities, each student will write, direct, shoot, edit and create the sound track for two individual short films, one 16mm and the other HDV, with the use of individual Mac edit stations. Some classes will be held at centers involved with the film production process, so as to gain a practical, professional and personal perspective. Students will use professional equipment (Macs and Mac based software, Final Cut, EP Movie Magic, etc).
Upon completion, qualifying students may be invited to participate in the Digital Feature Film Program. •See video
