afilm presents Producer - Director Lorraine Gallard and the HOW TO MAKE YOUR DOCUMENTARY IN 5 DAYS WORKSHOP. Having studied in New York (HB Studios), the Universidad Mackenzie (Sao Paulo, Brasil), and at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, (San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba), Lorraine is the independent producer of several documentaries. Creator of the “Cortocircuito” y “Cortocircuito – Create” festivals, Lorraine has also created this 5 Day practical and professional Documentary Workshop.
The Workshop includes General theory, screening of short documentaries (informative/ artisitic/ education), scripting (theme, characters, social context, current events), planning/ preproduction, location scouting, Photography & Steadicam Workshop with Director of Photography Instructor, Shooting, Postproduction (capturing, editing, sound and music) and a Financing/ Distribution Seminar with Production Instructor. The Workshop includes the use of all materials necessary for the production of the documentary.
Upon concluding the Workshop, each student will receive a copy of the documentary and a Diploma certifying the knowledge / experience acquired.
